Yami Gautam Wedding Trend
Yami Gautam recently tied the knot with Aditya Dhar, the director of the movie Uri: The Surgical Strike. The whole wedding, including the pre and post-wedding rituals, looked as pure as the simplicity in the ceremonies. Yami surely set a trend of having a wedding that’s beautiful, elegant yet simple. Here are all the details you need to know from your intimate wedding and wedding rituals.

Before her wedding, Yami was sharing heartwarming clicks from all her wedding rituals and ceremonies as a very beautiful and blushing new bride-to-be. She uploaded a few pictures from her Mehendi Ceremony where there was a candid picture of the couple from the ceremony itself. She captioned the image on Instagram- “O dear one, why worry? What is meant for you will always, always find you.” She was seen wearing a mustard yellow Gota Pati suit with ruby jewellery on her neck and ears with a little nose pin. Her dupatta has golden tassels attached to the edges that give it a very gentle yet glowy look. Her ruby necklace and earrings complimented the look a lot.
During the ceremony, she was also spotted with her sister and brother on her sister, Surilie’s Instagram.

She has also shared images from her pre-wedding ceremonies – Haldi, Mehendi, and Chura rituals. Yami’s colour palette for the entire wedding seems to be hues of red and yellow. She wore a bright yellow suit for her Haldi with a red embroidered dupatta and cowrie shell jewellery. For the Chura ceremony, she’s seen wearing a vibrant red sari with zari embroidery and a happy bridal glow.

Yami wore the marvelous deep red saree with gold jewellery. To give her a perfect Indian bridal look, she put on an embroidered bridal dupatta, odhani, like a veil. While her odhani featured intricate goldwork, her blouse stood out for its floral pattern. Yami completed her wedding rig-out with a regal gold choker, haar, maang tikka, and kalire, along with traditional chooda bangles. Aditya, Yami’s husband, complemented her look in a classic ivory sherwani topped off with muted goldwork.

A few clicks of her post-wedding looks have also surfaced with Yami Gautam in a green silk sari with sindoor. With a heavy and intense amount of sindoor, Yami is also wearing Chura bangles in her hand which is beautifying her happy newlywed look.
